Privacy Policy

ADDFARM Inc. (the “Company”) is a corporation established in the Republic of Korea. This Privacy Policy applies to the ADDFARM unified account, ADDVIEW, HANDAM and the English-language pages operated by the Company.

The Company primarily processes personal information under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Where mandatory privacy laws in a user’s country apply to the Company, the Company will also handle the relevant personal information in accordance with those applicable requirements.

• •Unified account management: registration, authentication, account linkage, permissions, fraud prevention and notices.
• •ADDVIEW: linking IoT sensors and gateways, managing farms/facilities/devices, displaying farm data, alerts, statistics and reports.
• •HANDAM: creator registration, publication and viewing of web novels/webtoons, search/recommendation, branch-story functions, reader choices/reactions, creator statistics and IP-potential analysis.
• •AI functions: crop diagnosis/classification/inference and HANDAM planning, review, image, audio and video generation. Training use beyond service delivery is subject to separate consent where required.
• •Support and security: inquiries, technical support, incident response, service-quality and security improvements.
• •Optional marketing: product, feature and event communications where the user has opted in.

• •Unified account: name, email address, mobile number, password, sign-up path, account status and common permissions.
• •ADDVIEW: farm/facility name, address, role/department, crops and facility interests, facility/device identifiers, report channels and farm-operation notes.
• •HANDAM: pen name/profile, creator application/approval data, works/episodes/covers/descriptions/tags, branch-story relationships and settings, PICK/canon-related status, views, recommendations, completion, comments and creation activity.
• •Automatically generated data: IP address, device/browser data, access/error logs, sessions/cookies, usage records, sensor data, device-state logs and HANDAM reading/choice/navigation records.
• •Media: farm/crop photos, video and audio; HANDAM images, audio, video and attachments; related metadata such as EXIF location, time or device model where present.

• •Unified account data: until account deletion, unless retention is required for legal obligations, contracts or disputes.
• •Contract/payment records: retained for the period required by applicable Korean e-commerce and tax laws.
• •Customer inquiry records: generally up to 3 years where Korean e-commerce retention requirements apply.
• •Access logs: retained for the period required by applicable Korean communications laws and internal security policy.
• •AI media: for the period necessary to provide the requested feature and maintain relevant service history, then deleted upon valid deletion request or when no longer necessary, subject to legal retention requirements.
• •HANDAM works, branch stories and reaction records: until deletion of the work/activity or account closure; public content may be retained in de-identified or separated form where necessary to preserve content relationships and protect related creators’ rights.

The Company does not currently disclose personal information to independent third parties for their own purposes unless the user consents or disclosure is required or permitted by law.

If third-party sharing becomes necessary, the Company will provide information such as the recipient, purpose, data categories and retention period and obtain consent where required.

The Company may use processors and infrastructure providers to operate the services. The current Korean policy identifies Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) for storage/infrastructure related to ADDVIEW unstructured data and HANDAM files.

The website also uses analytics/experience tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These tools may process cookie identifiers, device/browser data and usage events in accordance with the Company’s configuration and the providers’ applicable terms and privacy notices.

When a processor is used, the Company applies contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the processing.

Because ADDFARM Inc. is based in the Republic of Korea, information submitted by users outside Korea may be transmitted to and processed in Korea. Depending on the service and infrastructure configuration, information may also be processed by service providers in other countries.

Where Korean law requires disclosure, consent or safeguards for overseas transfers, the Company will provide the required information and take the required steps. Where a user’s local mandatory law imposes additional cross-border-transfer requirements, those requirements will be addressed when applicable.

Users may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing or withdrawal of consent to the extent provided by applicable law. Users may also request deletion of uploaded media and related inference results, subject to lawful retention exceptions.

Requests can be submitted through the applicable service or by email to addfarm.ad@gmail.com. The Company may request reasonable information to verify identity and the scope of the request.

• •Administrative controls, access reviews, internal policies and staff training.
• •Firewalls, access control, MFA, VPN/private-network controls, TLS in transit, appropriate encryption or one-way hashing, vulnerability and malware controls, and security logging.
• •Minimization or removal of media metadata where appropriate and separation of originals and AI outputs where needed.
• •Physical access controls for servers and records, together with backups and recovery procedures.

AI features may automatically analyze text, images, video, audio, sensor data or content in order to provide diagnosis, classification, recommendations, content review or generation. AI outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors.

Where personal information is used for model training beyond what is necessary to deliver the requested service, the Company will obtain separate consent when required and apply de-identification, metadata removal or masking as appropriate.

The Company processes creator profile data, work/episode metadata, branch relationships, reader paths, views, recommendations, completion and comments to operate HANDAM, provide recommendations and creator statistics, and evaluate content performance.

Public pen names, profiles, works, episodes, branch content and comments may be visible to members or non-members according to publication settings. Unified-account contact information is not publicly displayed unless the user intentionally makes it public through a supported feature.

This Policy may be updated to reflect legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be announced through ADDVIEW, HANDAM or the Company website before they take effect when required.
